Forest fire breaks out in NE China

Firemen put out forest fire in Hegang, northeast China's Heilongjing Province, on Oct. 12, 2011. The forest fire that broke out Tuesday here had engulfed an area of 96 hectares so far, according to the provincial forest fire prevention headquarters. A total of 2,185 personnel, as well as a helicopter and three planes, havd been dispatched to the area to put out the fire. (Xinhua) (zkr)
