The ghostly remains of Kittyhawk P-40 was found almost perfectly preserved, unseen and untouched in the Sahara Desert, after it came down in 1942. Flight Sergeant Dennis Copping, pilot of the Kittyhawk P-40, was thought to have survived the crash, but died trying to walk out of the desert. [Photo: news.bjnews.com.cn]
