Death toll climbs to 19 in coal mine explosion in SW China

Rescuers plan to rescue trapped miners at Xiaojiawan Coal Mine in Panzhihua City, southwest China's Sichuan Province, Aug. 30, 2012. The death toll in the gas explosion that occurred Wednesday afternoon at the coal mine has climbed to 19 and 28 others remain missing. A total of 154 miners were working underground at the Xiaojiawan Coal Mine when the blast occurred. The rescue is underway. [Xinhua]
