Even today, Tu is still composing his poems. Given his age, he can't write as many as he used to. Apart from writing poems, he watches TV, reads newspapers, writes journals and listens to music. Tu loves classical music, especially Beethoven and Schubert. Later, he found out about Jazz, a music genre of African roots. He finds its folklore characteristics very interesting, and after some time, he became to appreciate it. Tu is all about reading. Besides poetry, he reads abundantly other Chinese classic masterpieces. He can never get enough of Dream of the Red Chamber, claiming that you don't have to read the whole thing, just crack open the book and start reading from any chapter, and you won't be able to put it down.
