There's always a pile of letters on Tu's desk, waiting to be sent out. He gets a lot of letters from friends that he knows and readers he doesn't. People write to ask for a "precious ink" by Mr. Tu. He smiles and says, "I am not a calligrapher, but I do have a principle of 'never rejecting anyone.' At the end of a day, people ask for gifts because they think a lot of me. It would be rude to ignore them, and the least I can do is to write back. That's why part of my daily work is to write back to people and make some 'ink' for my readers."
