Guo Qiang (L) comes from Suqian, Jiangsu Province. He is a salesman in a real estate company in Beijing. He thinks that Beijing can provide more opportunities for him and he can gain greater experience. Living alone in Beijing is very hard, but Guo never asks for financial help from his family. He shares a bedroom with his colleagues near the company, which costs 700 yuan per person per month. He hopes to start his own business in the future, but is not sure whether he will live permanently in Beijing. "If you want to make your life better, you have to work harder than others," he said.
