Spaniard Sainz wins fourth stage at Dakar Rally

Spaniard Carlos Sainz edged Qatari driver Nasser Al-Attiyah by six seconds to win the fourth stage of the Dakar Rally car division on Tuesday.

The Spaniard extended his lead over rival Al-Attiyah to 3 minutes 46 seconds on the overall standings.

France's 2006 champion Luc Alphand, who lost a lot of time on Monday, was third in the stage over two minutes behind.
