Panathinaikos loses 2-1 to Spain's Villarreal

Panathinaikos Athens lost 2-1 in the game with Villarreal of Spain in UEFA Champions League second leg match of last 16 which played at the Athens Olympic Stadium on Tuesday night.

Panathinaikos was eliminated from the tournament while Villarreal entered the quarter finals.

Panathinaikos's goal was scored by Vangelis Mantzios at the 55th minute and Villarreal's goals by Ariel Ibagaza at the 49th minute, and Joseba Llorente at the 70th minute.

The first leg match had ended in a 1-1 draw in Spain.
