Chinese divers reaches 10m platform final at FINA Diving World Series

Zhou Lvxin and Qiu Bo qualified for the 10-meter platform final at the FINA Diving World Series in Qingdao on Sunday.

Zhou and Qiu, who finished 546.35 points and 537.40 points respetively, ranked the first place of two groups in the semifinal stage.

Qiu, who chose a diving code of 109C at the difficulty degree of 3.7 in the fifth round, won six 9s and one 9.5 from all seven judges and got the highest score of 99.90 points in the semifinal.

Zhou and Qiu will compete in the final with four divers from Germany, Britain, Mexico and Russia this evening.

Attracting 56 elite divers around the world, the FINA World Diving Series in Qingdao features events of 3-meter springboard and 10-meter platform in individual and pair.
