250 Chinese paintings to promote 16th Asian Games

A traditional Chinese painting exhibition that organised by Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC) and Chinese Artists Association will be held at Guznghou Summer Palace Golf Chateau and Guangdong Museum from November 3 to 15, 2010. Liu Dawei, President of Chinese Artists Association, and Liu Jian, Secretary General of Chinese Artists Association, will attend the ceremony of the exhibition with lots of famous Chinese painters.

The exhibition began to collect the works this May and was welcomed by the painters in China. Untill late September, there were 250 outstanding paintings collected and to be shown in the exhibition.

After the exhibition, some of the paintings will be donated to GAGOC as part of the Asian Games cultural heritage.
