South Korean marksmen snatched the team's second shooting gold by beating host team China again at Guangzhou Asiad on Sunday.

Kim Daemyung, Jin Jong-oh and Lee Sangdo totaled a score of 1746 points, outscoring China by three points, to secure the title.

China got the silver. Third-placed Japan collected 1724 points.

Local spectators were lucky enough to see three world-level shooters Jin of South Korea, Matsuda Tomoyuki of Japan and Kim Jong Su of DPR Korea standing together to fight for a berth in the final.

Matsuda was affected by the pressure. Losing a total of 23 points was too much for the world number one male pistol shooter to enter the final. Ranked 13th, Matsuda Tomoyuki concluded his Guangzhou Asiad performance.

Beijing Olympic champion Pang Wei lost his rhythm because of a technical problem by the end of the match. He closed ninth, losing the chance to enter the eight-men final. Pang called for a pistol after the match, but couldn't do anything to change the result.
