China has secured the title of women's doubles as four Chinese pairs entered the semifinals after beating their respective opponents at badmionton Indonesian Open on Friday.
No. 8 players Bao Yixin/Cheng Shu eliminated Indonesian pair Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Greysa Polii 21-15, 22-20.
In the previous match, defending champions Wang Xiaoli/Yu Yang won the match against another Indonesian duo Anneke Feinya Agustin/Della Destiara Haris. The no. 1 Chinese pairing were extended to three games, winning in 21-13, 15-21 and 21-12.
"It's not so exceptional. We would still take our utmost to win the match," Bao Yixin told reporters on the sidelines of the match, commenting on all-Chinese semifinals scheduled on Saturday.
