Xinjiang Guanghui became the first team to have recorded a 10-game winning streak this season after a 97-92 road victory over Beijing Ducks in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Friday.

Xinjiang (15-3) is now ranked second to defending champions Guangdong Hongyuan (15-2), who will host Foshan Long Lions on Saturday.

Xinjiang's foreign duo Lester Hudson and James Singleton combined for 50 points and 26 boards. Yang Jingmin helped with 18 points.

After going back to U.S. for knee surgery, Beijing's key player Stephon Marbury arrived in Beijing on Friday and was on the sidelines supporting his teammates.

After leading by seven points into the last period, Xinjiang built a 15-point lead, thanks to Yang's consecutive shots behind the arc.

But Beijing did not surrender easily. Randolph Morris, Sun Yue and Damien Wilkins made several shots to cut the deficit to just one point. Then Hudson secured the victory for Xinjiang with stable performance on the free-throw line.

Morris contributed 24 points. Sun Yue and Wilkins finished with 22 and 16 respectively.

In a high-scoring game, Dongguan Marco Polo edged promoted Sichuan Jinqiang 137-135 through double overtime. Dongguan's Bobby Brown finished with 74 points, including a buzzer beater that bounced four times off the rim and fell through the basket in the second overtime.

Seventy-four points was the second highest score in 19-year CBA history. The top belonged to Quincy Douby, who scored 75 points for Zhejiang Chouzhou last season.

Four players from both sides were ejected after Dongguan's Li Muhao elbowed Sichuan's Michael Efevberha in the third quarter, leading to a fierce quarrel. Then Li Muhao and teammate Donte Greene, along with Haddadi and D.J.White from Sichuan, were expelled.

Efevberha scored 50 points but was still overshadowed by Brown.

Shanxi Fenjiu recorded their third straight win after crushing Tianjin Ronggang 125-105. Marcus Williams netted a game-high 42 points. Charles Gaines added 26 poitns and 17 rebounds.

In Friday's other games, Fujian SBS lost to Shanghai Sharks 113-95, Zhejiang Guangsha upset Liaoning Hengye 106-89, Jilin Northeast Tigers nipped Bayi Fubang 95-84, Qingdao Doublestars lost to Zhejiang Chouzhou 123-113, and Shandong Gold beat Jiangsu Dragons 86-75.
