Young's 29 points power Lakers past Raptors

The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Toronto Raptor 112-96 on Sunday.

The Lakers had the second straight victory after a six-game losing streak, standing on the 11th place in the Western Conference with a 16-25 record.

Nick Young, who came out of a one-game suspension, finished with a game-high 29 points. Pau Gasol had 22 points and nine rebounds.

DeMar DeRozan led the Raptors with 23 points. Kyle Lowry made 21 points and nine assists.

The Lakers would next encounter the Chicago Bulls in a back-to-back game on Monday.
