Kazakhstan Garner Gold in Men's C2 500m

Kazakhstan garnered the gold medal in the men's C2 500m of canoe and kayak competition at the Asian Games on Thursday.

Alexandr Dyadchuk and Kaissar Nurmaganbetov of Kazakhstan secured the gold in one minute and 45.801 seconds.

After taking a gold in the men's C1 500m, China's Olympic champion Yang Wenjun and his partner Wang Bing snatched a silver medal in 1:46.341, edging Uzbekistan's Rustam Mirzadiyarov and Maksim Kiryanov into third place in 1:47.537.
