Jefferson led the Timberwolves to a 3-1 week, averaging 28.8 points and 12.8 rebounds. The team defeated three playoff teams from last season and its lone loss came by just a point against the league's best team, Boston. His high point was a 40-point, 19-rebound effort in a 98-95 win Sunday over New Jersey.

Turkoglu helped the Magic to a 3-1 week, including wins over Eastern Conference leaders Detroit and Boston. He led Orlando in scoring each of its four games last week and averaged 25.5 points a game. Turkoglu tallied a game-high 27 points, including the game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer in a 96-93 victory Sunday over Boston.
