Chinese world and Olympic champion Guo Jingjing took the limelight of the "Water Cube" together with her partner Wu Minxia as they claimed the last gold of the "Good Luck Beijing" FINA Diving World Cup in Beijing on Sunday.

In the women's three-meter springboard synchronized final, Guo and Wu performed steadily and showed a class of their own by totaling 362.10 points, beating their closest rivals Julia Pakhalina and Anastasia Pozdnyakova of Russia, who posted 329.81, by more than 30 points.

Ariel Rittenhouse and Kelci Bryant of the Untied States finished third in 322.50.

"I think we performed well today," said Wu. "It was our normal level."

It's the 22-year-old Wu's second gold at the World Cup. She beat "diving queen" Guo on Saturday's three-meter springboard final to win her first gold.

Wu has just recovered from a series of injuries since 2007, and it was her first victory in two years over Guo.

"I'm quite happy with the result," said Pakhalina. "We will train harder in the future to compete with Chinese divers."
