Famous stars to attend int'l snooker game in China

With big names like Ronnie O' Sullivan, Stephen Hendry and Ding Junhui on the lists, the 2008 Huangshan Cup Snooker All-Star Game is scheduled to open on May 14 in Hefei, capital of China's Anhui province.

The game consists of two-day national selection and three-day international competition. In the national selection which starts on May 14, 16 top home players, including Liang Wenbo, Ding Junhui and Liu Chuang, will compete for four seats in the following game and then vie with foreign stars including Ronnie O' Sullivan, Stephen Hendry and Mark Williams.

Zhang Feng, secretary-general of the Hefei Billiards Association, said Saturday that following the world championship, both foreign and domestic players would continue to offer exciting matches for the audience.

According to Hefei Billiards Association, the game, jointly held by the China Billiards Association and Anhui Sport Bureau, will last five days.
