Taomee is a social network and gaming site (similar to the Disney-owned Club Penguin), which is massively popular with children and their mothers. Founded in October 2007, the site is in fact the parent company that runs a number of different children's sites, including Moer (mole-themed), Saier (sci-fi themed), and XiaoHua (princess-themed). As of March 2011, it had at least 180 million registered users, with 20.2 million active users.
