For students who fail to test into their ideal publicly-funded universities after taking the college entrance examination, China's top private universities and colleges provide an excellent alternative.
In an annual list which ranks China's top 100 private universities, Beijing City University, Hunan International Economic University and Nanchang Institute of Technology take the first three spots this year.
The list, China Private University Rankings, is co-published by Cuaa.net and 21st Century Talent Report and surveys private universities for a wide range of index including tuition fees, student enrollment and facilities.
