Furong

Located in the west of Hunan Province, Furong is a town in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. It is originally named as Wangcun until a famous movie entitled "Furong Town" was filmed there in 1986. With more than 2,000 years history, Furong is an ancient town where people of the Tujia ethnic people live together. Until now, roads paved with black flagstones and ancient domestic houses (mainly Diaojiaolou) have been well preserved and become the main characters in the town. photo gallery>>
