Sichuan University is one of China's key universities under the direct supervision of Ministry of Education. This comprehensive university is located in downtown Chengdu, a famous historic and cultural city, and also the capital city of Sichuan Province.

This year's letter of acceptance from the university preserves the best of past versions and adds some innovative elements. The cover of the letter is styled in gold and printed with an old gate of the university and celebrities who attended there. The letter itself is printed in Chinese and English. A counterfeit-proof metal wire is embedded on the right side of the letter, similar to Chinese banknotes.
