During the early Tang Dynasty (618-907), Yue Ware, located in Zhejiang Province, had produced many tribute porcelains for the royal family. This bowl is representative of his style. The bowl is large and regular in shape, with an opening like a blooming begonia flower and a plump belly. It is made from fine clay, and then evenly coated with bright yellowish celadon glaze. This kind of bowl is unique among celadon from Yue Ware.
