China Shenhua Energy Company Limited, exclusively initiated by Shenhua Group Corporation Limited, was incorporated on November 8, 2004, in Beijing. H shares and A shares of China Shenhua are listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Shanghai Stock Exchange in June 2005 and October 2007, respectively. China Shenhua is a leading coal-based integrated energy company, with its principal businesses covering coal production and sales, railways, ports and the shipping of coal-related materials, as well as power generation and sales.
