Shenzhen, located in the southern part of Guangdong Province and on the eastern shore of the Pearl River Delta, is a major city in the province. The area is China's first, and one of the most successful Special Economic Zones (SEZs). The city's modern cityscape is testament to its vibrant economy.
Shenzhen is the third most attractive city, thanks to its attractive working environment, and especially its high salaries. The city received high marks in terms of its development plan, but its living environment was graded unsatisfactory, especially in terms of health care environment and children's education.
