The high crime rate is a chronic problem in this falling city. It was named the second dangerous city in the U.S. in 2012 and its airport was nominated the most frustrating one in the country in 2007.So it's not surprising that many travelers gave a negative evaluation of this city. One reader even declared it the "armpit of the world."
