Canada, neighbor of the United States, has the world's second largest oil reserves, next only to Saudi Arabia. It has rich deposits of zinc, uranium, gold, nickel and aluminum. Canada's per capita salary is about US$42,000 per year, but income tax is roughly 23 percent.
