Top 9 happiest Chinese cities in 2016

Are you satisfied with your family, health, income and career? The latest survey conducted by China Central Television identifies the nine happiest Chinese cities in 2016.

The survey, named China Economic Life Survey, used both primary research involving over 100,000 families in 104 cities and 300 counties in the country, as well as analysis of Big Data online. It covers family relations, marriage and relationships, health, income, education, career prospects and other factors.

Three factors were chosen by Chinese people as the most important in relation to the happiness index, namely, health (54.19 percent), family relations (47.79 percent) and income (43.81 percent).

If you are living in the following cities, congratulations! You may be one of the luckiest persons.

Relatively happy: 59.18 percent

Key factors related to happiness:

Family relations: 62.12 percent

Marriage and relationships: 52.31 percent

Health: 46.92 percent

Income: 36.15 percent
