5. The Chinese government worked with the sci-tech community to achieve carbon peak and neutrality targets, issuing important reports on climate change

In August 2021, the NCC issued the "Blue Book on Climate Change in China 2021," providing updated data support for the country's climate change response.

In October, China's State Council Information Office released a white paper titled "Responding to Climate Change: China's Policies and Actions" to document the country's progress in mitigating climate change and share its experience and approaches with the rest of the international community.

In December, China released the "Green Book of Climate Change," analyzing the challenges, opportunities and paths for China to achieve its carbon peak and neutrality targets from various perspectives.
