Summary: This is the ninth time the list of "Top 500 Companies of China in 2010" will be released by the China Enterprise Confederation (CEC) and the China Entrepreneur Association (CEA). In 2009, the Chinese economy took the lead to recover steadily from the global financial crisis. Due to the government's economic stimulus measures, the threshold for those companies included in this year's top 500 is annual revenue of 11.08 billion yuan, a slight increase from 10.54 billion yuan in 2009; however, year-on-year growth rate continues to fall. Although revenues have tended to increase slowly, economic benefits are apparently improving. The total asset value keeps growing quite rapidly and mergers and reorganization of companies are still active.
