Scattered around Beijing are over 400 bars and pubs where people can hang around, enjoying a chilled brew, to cool the summer evening and the heat of Olympic competition. So, let's go clubbing with CCTV anchor Ji Xiaojun and take in one of the popular bars where you can watch the Olympic competitions on big screen TV.

Ji Xiaojun said, "It's still raining outside, but you can easily feel the heat here, with one of the most watched games going on: the basketball match between China and the United States! "

The place is filled with faces, intently staring at the TV screen. Jubilant shouts rise above the boisterous murmur of the crowd. Sunday night, the Goose and Duck played host to a merry-making crowd of 600 Olympic revelers -- despite a heavy downpour. The visitors came from all over to see the eagerly anticipated clash in men's basketball between China and the USA. Though the outcome never was seriously in question, the excitement and enthusiasm were undiluted.

Ji Xiaojun said, "We have fans for the US team, we have fans for the Chinese team. Obviously, everyone's enjoying the nightlife here. You are here for the Olympics, but also to experience the life of Beijing. If you have time, come to one of these bars, enjoy your stay here."
