Overview of the Chefs:

- Li Zheng Tai: Being a famous Sichuan Cuisine Master, He is also a grand cuisine lecturer and elected Executive Cuisine Examiner. Graduated from the major in Beijing Service School in 1964, he worked mostly at Beijing Ritz Carlton Hotel.

He is especially good at Sichuan food, and also skilled in preparing Peking Duck courses. Zhang Zhi Guang is a famous Chinese Cuisine Master, as well as a renowned cuisine teacher and examiner. He was the champion winner of cuisine competitions in China and abroad.

He was invited several times by Cuisine Societies to exhibit in Taiwan and France for his unique skills. Zhang Zhi Guang is skilled at Shandong food as well as all kinds of appetizers, cold dishes, etc. He edited many Chinese cuisine books including the famous "Art of Food Carving” and “Artistic Cold Dish Design ".

11 Day China Cooking School Tour: (Dates and price subject to change)

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Beijing. Arrive Beijing, Check in Hotel.

Day 2: Beijing. Cloisonne, Great Wall, Chinese lunch, Temple of Heaven in the afternoon, dinner.

Day 3: Beijing. AM: Chinese cooking training class. General Introduction of Chinese Cuisine, Vegetable Carving Art, Hand-made Noodle Making, Food Carving. PM: LamaTemple and Rickshaw Tour through old Beijing.

Day 4: Beijing. Beijing Sightseeing, including Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and Summer Palace.

Day 5: Beijing. AM: Chinese cooking training class. Peking duck - cleaning, inside filling, drying, hanging Practice under guidance of Chef, Peking Duck Pancake making, Chinese Dumpling Making. PM: Scenery Hill, Chinese Tea Ceremony, Changpu Park Dinner at the fabulous Bai Family Restaurant.

Day 6: Beijing, Suzhou. AM: Chinese cooking training class Learning how to cook four traditional courses: Sliced Pork with Fish Taste, Palace Gong's Chicken, Sweet & Sour Pork, Analysis of examples, Practice under guidance by chef PM: Olympic Site, Chinese Herbal Pharmacy, Foot Massage. Take overnight train to Suzhou.

Day 7: Suzhou. Arrive Suzhou in the morning and transfer to Hotel Visit Lingering Garden, one of the four most beautiful gardens in China. No1 Silk Factory. Midu Bridge ( old Canal Market area).

Day 8: Suzhou, Shanghai. Morning tour to Shantang old Town “ Oriental Venice”. Embroidery Institute. Lunch and take the ride to Shanghai. Afternoon 2 hours at Beital Cooking School.

Day 9: Shanghai. Full day sightseeing to the bund (water front) Jade Buddja Temple, Buddhist Tea Performance Shanghai Old Town. Lunch and dinner are included.

Day 10: Shanghai. Beital Cooking school (2 hours). General Introduction to Shanghai food. Shopping in Shanghai. Farewell dinner at Dynasty Restaurant. Night cruise over Huangpu River.

Day 11: Shanghai, En Route for Home City. Transfer to airport for return home. (Allow for some spontaneity in schedule).
