“Of all the notable mountains in China, Mount Huangshan, to be found in the south of Anhui province, is probably the most famous. Originally known as Mt. Yishan it was renamed Mt. Huangshan in 747 AD in recognition of the legendary Huang Di, who was the reputed ancestor of the Chinese people and who made magic pills for immortality here.”

Your Itinerary:

Day 1: En Route. Depart your home city for Beijing, China.

Day 2: Beijing. Arrive in Beijing in the morning. Transfer to hotel. Lunch in a local restaurant. Afternoon tour to the largest city square in the world, the Tian'anmen Square covering a total space of 44 hectares, then to the world largest imperial residence, the Forbidden City (1406-1911). Dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 3: Beijing. Morning ride to one of the Ming Tomb relics with a short lesson on sit of Chinese Feng Shui. En Route visit the unique China art - Cloisonnu. After lunch, take the tour to the fascinating Great Wall extending over 10 thousand miles, built initially as a defense against nomadic tribes. Here, special training will be given by a Chinese Martial Arts Master. Dinner back in the city.

Day 4: Beijing. Visit the impressive Temple of Heaven, built in 1420 as the imperial praying site for “good harvest”. We will also join locals in their various recreation activities. Then drop by the Capital Pearl Market to see the various pearl products.

Lunch on Peking duck followed by tour of the Hutong on an exciting Rickshaw ride. Afterwards, enjoy the fascinating Chinese Tea Ceremony. Dinner followed by the grandiose Kung Fu Show with monks from Shaolin Temple demonstrating their skills.

Day 5: Beijing. Morning training by a Chinese Martial Arts Master. Visit the outstanding Tibetan Lama Temple housing the largest single-wood-carving Buddha in the world. Enjoy a fabulous lunch at the Bai Family Restaurant surrounded by Qing (1640-1911) costumes, music, decor and garden views.

In the afternoon, visit the famous Tong Reng Tang Herbal pharmacy and enjoy foot reflexology (option). Late afternoon, we will drive to see the bustling Olympic Construction site and overlook the most eye-catching stadium - the National Stadium. Dinner with ethnic dancing show in a local restaurant. Take overnight train (deluxe soft sleeper) to Shaolin.

Day 6: Shaolin. Arrival in Shaolin early in the morning and transfer to the famous Tagou Martial Art School by side of the Shaolin Monastery. Visit Shaolin Temple, where the Chan originated in China. Special training of Shaolin Martial Art by masters later afternoon. Overnight at Tagou school guest room.

Day 7: Shaolin. Special training of Shaolin Martial Art by masters Overnight at Tagou school guest room.

Day 8: Shaolin. Special training of Shaolin Martial Art by masters Overnight at Tagou school guest room.

Day 9: Chengdu. Morning transfer to airport for noon flight to Chengdu. Lunch on plane. In Chengdu, the group shall first visit the Panda Base and cuddle the cute Lesser Panda (also called Red Panda) in the garden. Dinner will be followed by the amusing local performance “Changing Face”.

Day 10: Chengdu. Day excursion to Qingchengshan Mountain and special training lesson given by Master Mailman on the mountain. Qingchengshan Mountain (Qingchengshan) is one of the ancient cradles of Daoism. The mountain has numerous Taoist temples and sites along the paths to its peak. The area is green all year round and is known for its secluded tranquility. Picnic Lunch.

Day 11: En Route. Transfer to Chengdu airport for flight home via Beijing.
