1st college ethnic museum in NW China opens

The first college ethnic museum in northwestern China has opened in Qinghai University for Nationalities, Xining, capital of Qinghai Province. Covering an area of 560 sq m, the museum has two exhibition halls with five exhibitions zones. On display are 1,000 objects, pictures and videos to showcase the cultural, historical and religious features of Tibetan, Hui, Tu, Sala and Mongolian ethnic minorities inhabiting in Qinghai Province for generations.
