Xigaze is the second largest city in Tibet which has more than 600 year's history. It used to be the political and cultural centre in history. In 1951, the population was only 10,000. Now the city has a population of more than 40,000 people and the area of the city is 5 times larger. There are various kinds of enterprises such as electricity, machinery, pharmacy, commodity products and so on in the city.
