Largest tourism development project in western Hainan

Construction work has started on the Yurun-Qizi Bay Tourist Resort in Changhua, Changjiang Li Autonomous County, which is reported to be the largest tourism development project in western Hainan with a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan.

Lu Zhiyuan, the director of Hainan Provincial Tourism Development Committee, has stated that the first phase of the project will include a sports and leisure park, a star-rated hotel and residence, a multi-function international business exchange center, a yacht club,and an ecotourism experience amusement park.

It is expected that after the completion of the whole project, there will be several high-end resorts that will provide various experiences including: traveling, sports, residence, adventure experiences, horse racing, and camping. The Yurun-Qizi Bay Tourist Resort is also said to be the first international eco-compound in western Hainan.
