Having recently become an official chapter, on November 29, the Beijing club will hold their first fund-raising ride to gather donations for a school in Niu Lan Shan, Shunyi District. Financial contributions will be used to purchase school supplies and study materials. The club members emphasized that they will not give cash to the school in order to reduce the risk of mismanaged donations.

The ride starts at 10 am at Comptoirs de France, at the Lido, and ends at the Pomegranate bar in Baixinzhuang village, Shunyi. A party there, starting at 1 pm, will include a raffle of two seafood dinner vouchers and two Sunday brunches, donated by the Ritz Carlton Hotel, as well as live music from local acts FRET24, the Berlin Mummies, Rockin' Ryan Kester & Eryl.

All who donate are invited to come present the supplies at the school before many families head home for the Christmas holiday.
