More than just a place for books, Eslite Bookstore has become a symbol of Taipei. I have been in Taipei for just over three months and already I have visited Eslite at least 10 times. To be honest, I wasn't such a bookworm before. The very first time I popped into Eslite it was only because I was curious about the place as it seems to be on the "must do" list of many young people in Taiwan, as well as on a "must go" list of tourists from all over the world. But now I have fallen in love with Eslite because I enjoy the reading atmosphere it offers — somewhere quiet, bright and with light music. It is a cultural hub in the midst of Taiwan.

Are you crazy about reading? If you are, Eslite Bookstore will definitely become your book-hogging Mecca. If you are not a big book reader then Eslite Bookstore will certainly turn you into one.
