2. Cuicui Hostel at Tuojiang 翠翠客栈

As the hostel owns the largest open-air balcony and beautiful flowers have been taken care of by the host, Cuicui Hostel once ranked as the most petty bourgeois hostel in China, which attracted a large number of urban white-collar female workers scrambling to live. Located by the Tuo Jiang (Tuo River), the hostel consists of three floors. It is a typical high gabled wooden house; the windows are made of wood. Bunches of corn and red peppers hang on the wall. There is a big terrace on the top floor where guests can fully enjoy the scenery, the local songs sung by the laundry women while washing their clothes and the men fish with their nets. In the evening, the host will put tables and desk in front of the gate and chat with those hikers, making them familiar with each other.
