Tips:

To get there:

It takes only 10 hours to travel from Kunming, capital city of Yunnan Province, to Nujiang prefecture by bus. If you fly to Baoshan and change buses at Nujiang, it takes only four hours.

Food:

As in other parts of Yunnan Province, Nujiang cuisine borrows hot and spicy flavors from Sichuan cuisine and features delicacies from the mountains and rivers.

Accommodations:

There are many comfortable hotels in Liuku, capital of Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture. A standard room costs about 40 yuan-60 yuan per night.
