Hong Kong Disneyland Park has formally launched a Braille guidebook to introduce the butterfly and tree species inside the park to the blind.

Andrew Kam, the managing director of HKDP, told local media that the first batch of 300 guidebooks have been given to Hong Kong social welfare institutions that are dedicated to helping visually impaired people.

HKDP is said to own about one eighth of Hong Kong's butterfly species and is home to more than 80 kinds of plants. So it is expected that the guidebook can help people with visual disabilities learn about these creatures and cherish them as sighted people.

Currently there are over 120,000 people with visual disabilities in Hong Kong.
