Mudu

Located in Suzhou City of Jiangsu Province, Mudu is a town with a long history and is popular for its natural beauty. Mudu was a bustling commercial town in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty visited Mudu during his six inspections of southern China. Today, it is still the most prosperous business hub in Suzhou and attracts tourists from around the world for its rare and fine scenery.

In late April, Mudu held an international tour festival in order to draw Expo visitors.
