Nanjing Ming Palace

Situated southeast of Nanjing city, the 14th century Ming Palace in Nanjing was the imperial palace of the Hongwu Emperor, the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The palace was destroyed by Qing court in 1644, and today only some foundations, carved stones, walls and columns remain.

Admission fee: 1 yuan
