Heilongjiang Tourism Bureau has announced that the province's domestic tourism revenue jumped 33.6% from a year earlier to 35.75 billion yuan in the first half of this year, thanks to the booming travel market in its capital city, Harbin.

Figures released by the bureau showed that the number of visitor arrivals reached 63.12 million in the first half, representing a year-on-year growth of 39.2%.

In the period from January to June, the tourism market has maintained last year's fast growth momentum. The province received more than 100 million tourists in 2009.
