Day 1

Destinations: Arrive in Beijing

Today's Activities:You'll be met on arrival at Beijing airport. Free time rest of the day exploring the nearby streets, or resting and catching up on your jetlag. Beijing is a city of amazing contrasts – an ancient capital with incredible historical sites, and a bustling modern metropolis hosted the 2008 Olympics.

Day 2

Destinations: Beijing

Today's Activities:After breakfast head out for Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest public square, which is closely linked to The Forbidden City, from which the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties governed for over 500 years. Later you'll visit the Temple of Heaven, where the Emperors prayed for good harvests and rain, or gave thanks for the harvest.

Day 3

Destinations: Beijing to Chengdu

Today's Activities:After breakfast, you will head for the Great Wall at Mutianyu. Stretching for over 6000km, the wall was originally constructed to protect China from nomadic troops two thousand years ago. You need to climb about 20 minutes to reach top entrance to the wall at Mutianyu section. Of course cable car can always be your optional choice. The scenery of this section is marvelous. You can enjoy the time walking and climbing at your own pace. Transfer to airport and take the flight to Chengdu. Check in at the hotel.

Day 4

Destinations: Chengdu to Emei Mountain

Today's Activities:Drive to Emei Mountain and you will visit Emei Mountain. Emei Mountain is one of the four most sacred Buddhist Mountains in China. It has many temples and beautiful scenery.The mountain is known for its steep cliffs, lofty peaks, roaring waterfalls, gurgling springs, towering trees and fragrant flowers.After breakfast it's time for Monastery of Ten Thousand Years. There is a cable car leading there. 1,043 meters above sea level, the Monastery was built in the 4th century. In the hall is a statue of the Bodhisattva. Puxian on a white elephant, 8.5 meters high, cast in copper and bronze. Its weight is estimated 62,000 kilograms.

Day 5

Destinations: Chengdu to Shanghai

Today's Activities:After breakfast, our guide will lead you to Du Fu Cottage and Wuhouci Temple. The poet Du Fu lived in Chengdu for years. In the west suburbs of the city, he built for himself a thatched hut and wrote a lot of poems here. The poet's thatched cottage is an important scenic and historic spot in Chengdu. Wuhouci Temple is a place to commemorate Zhuge Kongming in Three Kingdoms around 2 and 3 centuries. Zhuge Kongming is an avatar in China.Transfer to airport and take the flight to Shanghai.

Day 6

Destinations: Shanghai

Today's Activities:You visit the Jade Buddha Temple, the lovely old Yuyuan Garden. After lunch you visit the Shanghai Museum which possesses a collection of 120,000 precious works of art, and then The Bund - the old colonial sector, which is home to a myriad of European-styled buildings that face the Huangpu River. It is a must-see when visiting Shanghai. Architectural styles include gothic, baroque, Romanesque, and renaissance.

Day 7

Destinations: Shanghai to Huangshan

Today's Activities:Take the flight to Huangshan and arrive in Huangshan City, Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own.

Day 8

Destinations: Huangshan

Today's Activities:Transfer you to the foot of the mountain. As you begin to take the cable car to the mountain, you will find yourself among the magnificent scenery. Enjoy the view of the Beginning-to-Believe Peak, the Peach Blossom Valley, the Lion Peak, the Flying-over Rock, the Bright Summit, the Cloud-dispelling Pavilion and the Xihai Grand Canyon.

Day 9

Destinations: Huangshan to Shanghai

Today's Activities:After watching the magnificent sunrise on the top of the mountain, we will continue to do some walking and see some other scenic sites of the mountain. Then take the cabel down the mountain and head for Hongcun village. It's located in the place which is about 10 kilometers off the northeast part of Yixian County. An ancient town over 800 years old leaning against Mt. Huangshan, it is folded in the fog of the Mt. which makes it look like a river and mountain picture. It enjoys the reputation of "The Chinese town in the pictures". Then transfer to airport for your departure to Shanghai.
