Chongwenmen Church

Once called Asbury Church, Chongwenmen Church was the first church constructed by the American Methodist Church in northern China. Originally it was built to hold 400 to 500 people. After several times of renovation, it was completed in 1904. Basically, it keeps the original decoration, though smaller in scale.

Location: 2, Hougou Hutong, Chongwenmennei

Opening time: 19:00 (Tuesday-Wednesday); 09:00 (Thursday); 09:00/18:00-20:00 (Friday)

Transportation: take bus 106, 108, 110, 111, 807 and get off at Chongwenmen.
