There are around 4,000 cranes in the world and 98 percent of them spend their winter in Poyang Lake.

Located in Jianxi Province, the Poyang Lake National Wetland Park is the largest wetland park with the most abundant species. It is regarded as the most beautiful grassland.

The park is a crucial habitat for migrant birds, especially for Northeast Asia migrant birds. They stop and stay here for the whole winter.

Hundreds of thousands birds, including some extinct birds, attract numerous bird-watching lovers every winter.
