Jade Hare Islet, Yuyao, Zhejiang Province

Jade Hare Islet is laid in the center of Siming Lake, Liangnong town, Yuyao city in Zhejiang Province. Covering an area of almost 20 square kilometers, Siming Lake is noted for the beautiful scenery where rippling water contrasts finely with the green mountain.

The shape of Jade Hare (or Yutu in Chinese) Islet is remarkably close to the Jade Hare, especially at full moon. On the islet, fruit gardens and tea gardens cover the wilderness. The land is thickly carpeted with green bamboos and pines, making the islet simple and unsophisticated.

Chinese name: Yu Tu Dao (玉兔岛)

Transportation: visitors can drive along Ninghang Expressway – Shenjiahu Expressway – Zhajiasu Expressway – Hangzhou Bay Bridge – Yuyao and reach Liangnong town.
