Louvre Hotels-Golden Tulip to build two hotels on Hainan

Paris-based Louvre Hotels-Golden Tulip Hospitality Group announced recently that it has signed an agreement with a Chinese developer to build two hotels on the international tourist island.

The hotelier has already opened three hotels in Shanghai, and it aims to operate 50 hotels in China by 2015. The two new hotels in Hainan Province will open in 2012 and 2013, respectively.

Louvre Hotels-Golden Tulip is planning to increase its presence in China with such brands as Royal Tulip, Golden Tulip and Tulip Inn.

In 2011, Louvre Hotels-Golden Tulip will build another five hotels in China. It will have 25 hotels in China by 2012, covering major domestic cites, such as Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Dalian, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Changxing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Zhuhai, and cities in Hainan Province.
