Datong volcanoes, Shanxi Province

Located northeast of Datong city in Shanxi Province, Datong volcanoes are the only concentrated volcanic area in North China.

There are over 30 presently known volcanoes which bunch together in an area of about 60 square km. The most important ones include Heishan, Jinshan, Langwoshan and Gelaoshan.
